A technological innovation project submitted by Beijing Allintelli Technologies Inc. was awarded project startup funding by Beijing Returning Overseas Students in Scientific and Technological Activities and the company was invited to attend the awards ceremony. The award winners were selected from all the pioneering enterprises operated by returning overseas students in Beijing, and only 73 projects were selected. Allintelli Technologies Inc. is the only enterprise in the USTB Science Park selected to win the award. During the ceremony, Deputy Director-General Jiang Liping of Administrative Department of Technological Professionals, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, said that returning overseas students constitute a significant human resource in China. The funding for excellent enterprises demonstrates the support of the Beijing Municipal Government for returning overseas students’ innovation. The country encourages the awarded enterprises to continue to develop technological innovation and the government will continue to offer support to attract overseas students to come back and start businesses in China, hoping they will make achievements that will contribute to the rapid development of the country.
The 2008 Presentation Ceremony of Funding Certificate for Beijing Returning Overseas Students in Scientific and Technological Activities was held in the Beijing Yulong International Hotel. Top leaders attended the event from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Personnel, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Zhongguancun Science Park Administrative Committee, and the Finance Bureau of Beijing.
